Products

We supply the following products:

An evaporator is used to evaporate a volatile solvent, usually water, from a solution. Its purpose is to concentrate non-volatile solutes such as organic compounds, inorganic salts, acids or bases.
Crystallisation, as a unit operation, embraces the concepts of producing a pure crystal within a magma containing impurities. The design of crystallisers is strongly influenced by the characteristics of each material handled.
Process Plant has the capability to offer Flash, Fluid Bed, Rotary and Spray dryers either within crystalliser systems or as stand-alone units.
Process Plant Technology designs and supplies distillation plants to recover solvents and specilised organic compounds. Reference plants include methanol, ethanol, turpentine and furfural recovery.
We offer a range of wet scrubbers to meet the most arduous of duties in difficult applications. These include venturi, impingement tray, packed bed design and filter element type of scrubbers
Filtration is a vital unit operation throughout the chemical industry and Process Plant Technology has a particular strength in selecting appropriate equipment and system development.
Air Cooled Heat Exchangers
Membrane processes are commonly used in conjunction with evaporation to provide a primary concentration of process streams, including effluents. In conjunction with specilaised partners we can offer complete systems
Process Plant technology has access to specifically designed air cooled heat exchangers manufactured in Asia. These units are designed on a case-by-case basis for each application considered.
Mixed Brine and Effluent Applications

The lack of water globally coupled with increased environmental legislation has necessitated many operators seeking to recover water from their effluent arisings. A by-product of this process is a solid or sludge requiring disposal. Process Plant Technology have been involved with almost fifteen different installations where mixed and or effluent brines are handled. In many of these plants, valuable intermediates are recovered to offset the operating cost of the plant.
