The lack of water globally coupled with increased environmental legislation has necessitated many operators seeking to recover water from their effluent arisings. A by-product of this process is a solid or sludge requiring disposal. Process Plant Technology have been involved with almost fifteen different installations where mixed and or effluent brines are handled. In many of these plants, valuable intermediates are recovered to offset the operating cost of the plant. |
